About the Program

 

At Hillcrest Family Services, the compassion and extensive experience of our counseling team means we provide a broad range of mental health services and treat a wide array of conditions for individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds at our Mental Health Centers, including:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Anxiety

  • Couples Counseling

Your Responsibilities

 

As a Internships/Field Placements/Practicums, your primary responsibility includes assisting with Staff Development Training activities for training Hillcrest staff along with day to day functions and to assist with special projects related to training staff. This also includes:

 

  • Learning the Hillcrest Staff Development training processes and procedures
  • Assisting with clerical and other duties as assigned in a timely and accurate manner
  • Analyzing trends and formulate recommendations/suggestions on how to improve the gathering process of the information being collected
  • Develops an understanding of current Hillcrest programs, policies and practices
  •  

What you need

 

  • Undergraduate or graduate student in a human resources program or another related field
  • Ability to perform clerical duties, including basic computer/keyboarding skills and multi-line telephone skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in relating to clients over the phone and in person
  • Respect for confidentiality of clients
  •
